On February 25, He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xpeng Motors, officially announced via social media that the 2026 Xpeng X9 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) will be officially launched on March 2 (next Monday).
As the core of this upgrade, the all-new 2026 Xpeng X9 BEV comes standard with an 800V high-voltage platform and 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery. It delivers a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 750 km, with a combined energy consumption of 15.9 kWh per 100 km.
In terms of charging efficiency, the new model supports ultra-fast charging, adding up to 400 km of range in just 8 minutes. It also comes standard with rear-wheel steering, zero-gravity seats, Turing AI chip, and run-flat stability system.
In terms of exterior design, the new Xpeng X9 BEV retains the styling of the previous model, featuring a futuristic and high-tech appearance with sharp, defined lines as its most distinctive design trait, breaking away from the traditional steady and imposing image of conventional MPVs.
For color options, a total of six finishes will be available: Aurora Green, Starship Gray (Matte), Nebula Purple, Crescent Silver, Dark Night Black and Nebula White.
In terms of dimensions, the new Xpeng X9 BEV measures 5293 mm in length, 1988 mm in width and 1785 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3160 mm, unchanged from the previous model. It adopts a 2+2+3 seven‑seat layout across all variants.
In terms of interior, the new model also retains the design of the previous generation, with a minimalist and spacious layout. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 17.3-inch 3K floating central control screen, paired with a two-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and column-mounted gear shifter. Three interior colors are available: Grey Elegance, Moon Shadow Brown, and Cloud Rose Brown.
For the intelligent cockpit, the new Xpeng X9 BEV is equipped with the XOS Tianji intelligent cabin system, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and the Turing AI chip.
In terms of intelligent driving, the new model features the second-generation VLA assisted driving large model, with the Turing AI chip as standard, delivering a maximum computing power of 2250 TOPS. It supports highway and urban navigation assisted driving as well as full-scenario intelligent parking.
In terms of configuration, the new 2026 Xpeng X9 BEV is equipped with a range of premium features, including power-folding third-row seats, zero-gravity seats with airbags, ventilation, heating and massage functions for the first two rows of seats, a 23-speaker audio system, a built-in car cooler/warmer refrigerator, rear independent air conditioning, HUD head-up display, third-row seat heating, multi-layer sound-insulating glass for front and rear rows, active noise cancellation, and rear privacy glass.
In terms of power, the new 2026 Xpeng X9 BEV is built on the full-domain 800V high-voltage SiC platform. It offers a choice of single-motor front-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive, with the 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery standard across all trims. According to different configurations, the CLTC pure electric range is 665 km, 650 km and 750 km respectively, with up to 400 km of range added in just 8 minutes.
For the chassis, the new model adopts a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear independent suspension, equipped with intelligent dual-chamber air suspension and continuously variable damping absorbers. It also comes standard with an active rear-wheel steering system, with a rear-wheel steering angle of up to ±10° and a turning radius of only 5.4 meters.
