Polestones ADAMAS was officially launched on December 28, with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) ranging from RMB 349,900 to RMB 359,900.
Positioned as a mid-to-large-size SUV, the new model offers two seating configurations: six-seater and seven-seater. It is powered by an extended-range electric system comprising a 1.5T range extender and dual motors, and delivers a CLTC pure electric driving range of 215 kilometers.
Since its establishment, Polestones Automotive has operated under an asset-light model, manufacturing products via OEM partnerships. Focusing on outdoor driving scenarios, the brand has pursued a niche market strategy. Previously, it only rolled out one model—the Polestones 01—and the newly launched Polestones ADAMAS is its facelifted version.
As a revamped iteration of the Polestones 01, the ADAMAS is far more than a simple annual update. While retaining the brand’s core design language, it has undergone a systematic technical restructuring and upgrade of its powertrain, luxury configurations, and all-terrain capabilities. The goal is to deliver a more well-rounded, scenario-encompassing premium mobility solution for family users.
In terms of exterior design, the Polestones ADAMAS inherits the highly acclaimed boxy, rugged styling of the Polestones 01. Its overall silhouette and body proportions remain unchanged, ensuring the model’s strong recognizability and off-road appeal. Meanwhile, several detailed enhancements have been made:
The border of the front grille has been redesigned from the previous standalone black trim to body-colored finish, enhancing the front fascia’s sense of integration.
The honeycomb decorative area below the headlights has been upgraded to a closed structure, accented with new dot-matrix elements.
The vehicle also adopts a new two-tone logo—black as the main color with gold edging—adding a touch of sophistication.
At the rear, it retains the classic externally mounted spare tire design, paired with a side-opening tailgate that underscores its outdoor-oriented nature. The new model offers five exterior color options, including the newly added Quicksand Gold. The full color palette consists of Quicksand Gold, Forest Green, Deep Rock Gray, Glacier White, and Starry Black, catering to the personalized needs of different users.
In terms of dimensions, positioned in the mid-to-large-size SUV segment, the Polestones ADAMAS measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width and 1,856 mm in height. With the optional externally mounted spare tire, its length can be extended to 5,298 mm. The 3,010 mm wheelbase lays a solid foundation for the roomy three-row seating layout, ensuring ample legroom for second and third-row passengers. Meanwhile, it maintains a practical luggage capacity even when fully occupied, perfectly catering to the diverse needs of family long-distance trips, camping and other scenarios.
Step inside the cabin, and the Polestones ADAMAS retains the overall interior layout of the Polestones 01 while introducing innovations in color schemes and materials to create an all-new premium ambiance. The newly added Galaxy Purple interior colorway alleviates the oppressive feel of traditional dark-colored interiors, delivering a more stylish and elegant cockpit visual experience. The dashboard features a dual-screen setup consisting of a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.7-inch floating central control screen, with clearly demarcated information display areas. The steering wheel has been subtly redesigned to better conform to ergonomic principles and contemporary aesthetics.
The vehicle is upholstered in NAPPA full-grain leather. Across the entire lineup, it comes standard with 12-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat and 10-way power adjustment for the passenger’s seat, along with heating, ventilation and massage functions. High-end variants are further equipped with premium amenities including 150-degree zero-gravity seats on both sides of the second row, 256-color ambient lighting, an 8.5-liter cooling and heating car refrigerator, and rear-seat entertainment screens, elevating comfort and convenience to a whole new level.
The infotainment system of the Polestones ADAMAS is deeply integrated with leading AI large models such as DeepSeek and ERNIE Bot, and it introduces the proprietary "Little Stone" voice assistant, delivering a more natural and intelligent human-machine dialogue and vehicle control experience. The four-screen interconnection system forms a complete infotainment matrix to meet the diverse needs of all occupants in the vehicle. This in-depth integration of AI capabilities transforms the vehicle from a mere means of transportation into a mobile intelligent space capable of understanding and executing complex commands, providing a seamless and smooth interactive experience in navigation, entertainment, vehicle settings, and other aspects.
In terms of the driver assistance system, the Polestones ADAMAS is equipped with an L2+ level advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that meets the current mainstream standard, powered by the Horizon Journey 6M ADAS chip. In addition to conventional driver assistance functions, it also supports high-level features including assisted parking, remote parking, memory parking, and highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA). These features cater to the needs of daily commuting and long-distance travel, effectively reducing driver fatigue.
Considering that its primary usage scenarios include long-distance self-driving tours, off-road adventures, and camping—where users are highly sensitive to range performance—all variants of the Polestones ADAMAS adopt an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) system. Every model is fitted with an EREV system consisting of a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender and electric motors. The 1.5T range extender, which is dedicated to efficient power generation, has a maximum power output of 110 kW. The combined maximum power of the front and rear dual motors reaches 350 kW, with a total torque of 740 N·m, delivering robust performance.
Matched with a 44.5 kWh ternary lithium battery pack supplied by CATL, the vehicle achieves a CLTC pure electric range of 215 kilometers, sufficient to cover the weekly urban commuting needs of most users. Its CLTC combined range extends up to 1405 kilometers, completely eliminating range anxiety.
When it comes to chassis dynamics and off-road capability, the Polestones ADAMAS offers above-class configurations. High-end variants are equipped with an air suspension system that supports an ultra-long stroke adjustment of 140 mm—a leading feature in its class. Combined with the all-aluminum chassis structure featuring double wishbone front suspension and H-arm rear suspension, this air suspension endows the vehicle with excellent dynamic performance and all-terrain adaptability.
Drivers can adjust the suspension height to lower the vehicle body during high-speed cruising for enhanced stability and energy efficiency, or raise it on unpaved roads to improve off-road capability. The new model also comes with 7 all-terrain driving modes, a 5.7 kW high-power vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, and a one-click camping mode (including automatic ramp leveling), enabling it to tackle various road conditions with ease and fulfilling its positioning promise as an "all-terrain luxury SUV".
Like the Polestones brand itself, the ADAMAS is a personalized model focused on outdoor scenarios, targeting users who recognize the value of new energy off-road vehicles. Its sales volume may not be particularly high—roughly a little over 1,000 units per month—but beyond mainstream brands, it provides users with another high-quality option.
